At Trinity Gospel Church we hold to the following core beliefs, drawn from the Holy Scriptures:
- 1There is only One true and living God who exists eternally in three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
- 2God is Spirit, personal, sovereign, eternal, unchangeable and holy. God is the Creator of Heavens, earth and sea and all things in it.
- 3Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, conceived by the Holy Spirit. He is fully God and fully man. The substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross provided the atonement of our sins, in His Bodily Resurrection on the third day and in His Ascension.
- 4In The Holy Spirit who came forth from the Father and the Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness and judgement.
- 5In all the biblical (Spiritual) gifts of the Holy Spirit. We believe love is more important than all the gifts.
- 6The scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit.
- 7The Bible is the authoritative Word of God for Salvation, Christian living and the foundation upon which the church operates.
- 8In the two ordinances of the church: Baptism by immersion in water and the Lord's Supper.
- 9The visible return of Jesus Christ to the earth and the establishment of His Kingdom.
- 10In the resurrection of the body, the final judgement and eternal blessing of the righteous.
